The dining room was partially presented at the National Exhibition in Paris in 1904 and appears in the publication salon 1904. The entire dining room is hand-crafted from solid walnut with rich plant decor with brass handles in the same design. It was the finest craftsmanship quality of the time that could be ordered. The dining room was made for a French villa of a very rich family. Everything is worked out in detail. It is a set of folding dining table with eight chairs, a large sideboard and a buffet with an extension. The chairs have the original leather upholstery – it is not in good condition and we will arrange restoration according to the request (leather or fabric). The table has newly completed folding intermediate parts – originally they were just wooden boards that were covered by a tablecloth when the table was spred out. The buffet and the sideboard have finished keys – the locks are functional. The wood is not attacked by wood-destroying insects. After reupholstering the chairs, the dining room will be in perfect condition – suitable for daily use. Such quality is rarely seen. Provenance: France.
