Antique French rosewood bureau de dame. Standing upon shaped legs with ormolu mounts to the knees and toes. The shaped frieze, fall and sides having marquetry floral inlays. Circa 1870 the fall opens to reveal 3 drawers and a sliding well. The top of the bureau having a pierced brass gallery and floral marquetry inlays. The bureau is free standing. Presented in good condition. Size: height 36″ (91cm) width 26″ (66cm) depth 16″ (40cm) working height 29″ (74cm).
