Over the years we have sold a few dozen Arts & Crafts table clocks. They were all beautiful and unique in design, but they ARE out there. However, wall clocks from this typical Dutch style period are much harder to find. To have found this stunning, rectangular wall clock was a treat, but to find it in this amazing condition really made our day. For it to run and strike perfectly was another major plus and it all means that it has always been loved and looked after. The equally stylish, original key to wind both the smooth running eight-day mechanism and the gong striking mechanism is also included. Thanks to the original and strong metal hook on the back, safely mounting this clock on your wall too is child’s play. Finally, because of the timeless design (although ‘timeless’ perhaps is not the best word for a clock) this fine antique will also look great in an Art Deco, but also in a more contemporary interior.
