Beautiful antique about 270 years old Zurich half wave cabinet. The Zurich wave cabinet is very similar to the Frankfurt wave cabinet and is often confused. A special feature are the door fishing (hinges). They lie outside at the Swiss wave cabinet from the 18th century and you can see them. This has the advantage that the door can be opened very far, almost 18o degrees. with the Frankfurt wave cabinet, the hinges are in the door leaves and not visible, so the doors cannot be opened so far because they bump into the side parts. This wave cabinet is cross -veneered with selected walnut veneer. The door becomes with an original iron lock, which is closed.
