The village of Kerman is located at the edge of the great desert in SE Persia and was on the ancient silk road. It is known for some of the most beautiful and colorful rugs that were woven in Persia. The weavers used the color and flower designs in rugs to bring some color and nature’s beauty to the dry desert environment that they lived in. Ideal piece as a wall hanging art or tapestry art.
