Early 1st edition production ‘Oyster’ F157 lounge chair by Pierre Paulin for Artifort – 1965. The early metal bases were made of brushed stainless steel. The new modern ones are made of chromed metal. The chair has been reupholstered in a gorgeous creme-white bouclé wool / cotton fabric by Bisson Bruneel from Paris, France. The stainless steel metal shows some signs of age.
