1960s Pair of lounge chairs on chrome metal base with black skai upholstery and chrome details, model Airport / Hans J. Wegner / AP Stolen, Denmark A pair of “Airport” chairs designed Hans J. Wegner and manufactured by AP Stolen in Denmark around 1960. A minimalist, modern design with a base of high quality chrome plated metal and leather upholstery. This combination makes this eye-catching set a highly recognizable piece of design. Created with a nice eye for detail that can be expected of a Wegner piece. Comfortable and appealing in simplicity. The gently tilted seat and back add nicely to the seating comfort. A fantastic find of mid-century Danish design! Sold as a set! The above price is both both chairs together. The set remains in good, vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina.
