Arts and Crafts Copper Mantel Clock
A most unusual Arts and Crafts mantel clock in an outswept hammered copper case with lions head ring side carrying handles and surmounted by a coiled serpent, resting on four brass lions claw feet.
The dial with enamel chapter ring, Roman numerals and decorated gilded centre, original ‘blued’ steel hands.
Eight day movement with platform escapement inscribed ‘ Manufactured by British United Clock Company, Birmingham’. C.1920
