This extremely stylish and practical size Arts and Crafts table clock is yet another one of our recent great finds and another prime example of the marvelous workmanship in early 1900s Europe. If you have an eye for good quality and stylish designs that were perfect from the day they left the artisan’s studio then this finest Arts and Crafts clock will immediately catch your eye. The combination of the wonderfully shaped, nutwood ‘clockhouse’ and the remarkable and timeless (no pun intended) dial face is one that will always attract the attention of Arts and Crafts collectors and enthousiasts from ‘all corners of the globe’. Apparently this European Arts and Crafts design is not only timeless, it also appeals to the good taste of people from various countries on different continents. This finest of specimens comes with a perfect working and mint brass, 8 day mechanism. One that will not wake you up at every hour in the night, because it was not made to strike. Hence the single hole in the dial face. You will ofcourse also receive the original key for winding this clock. The stylized numerals in the embossed dial face and the especially handmade for this clock brass pendulum are two of the other elements that really take this practical size gem to the next level. If we sound a little too enthousiastic about this clock, it is only because we really appreciate the design and we understand how difficult it is to come up with a design that is truly special and aesthetically pleasing to the eye. For it to still be this modern and timeless after more than 100 years, to us, proves that whomever designed this clock was a true visionary and ahead of his or her time (we will stop the time references here). Over the years both the warm nutwood and the hand-hammered brass have grown a patina that has made this antique clock even more classy and appealing.
Especially at our price this clock really is great value for money. Also, because perfect packing (in a custom made box) and worldwide delivery from our store to your door in just 4 to 6 days are complimentary.
