Vintage Design
The armchair and table has a strong, geometric character. Following in the tradition of the De Stijl movement, the FM60 series is inspired by the designs of Gerrit Rietveld.
Nicely constructed steel frame is finished in black lacquer.
The chair with the original thick black saddle leather which is in sturdy used condition and shows a great patina.
This chair was introduced in 1980 during the Triennale in Poznan in Poland.
The cube chair was intended to be a progression of Rietveld’s seminal red and blue chair – FM62 is the leather edition. Other editions came in canvas FM60 and plywood FM61.
The table similarly constructed with a balck steel frame with some age related marks on the top.
