Vintage Design
An elegant dining table designed by Willy van der Meeren, manufactured by Tubax in Belgium around 1950.
The table has a thin black lacquered metal base with a grey formica top. The minimalist style of the piece makes it a beautiful example of mid-century modern design. It can still function as a teacher’s desk, but would also a beautiful for any other office space or a fantastic decorative addition to the decor!
It remains in fair, vintage condition with wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina. It has discoloration to the top as shown in photos.
