This wardrobe was produced in Italy, in Cantù (small village in the north of Italy, next to Milan), by Paolo Lietti & Figli and designed by Gio Ponti. It features a mirror manufactured by Luigi Brusotti and a matching dresser, as you can see in the last picture (both available in our front store).
It was produced in the 1927/1928.
It has a label that indicates the date of manufacture and the sign ‘L. Brusotti 1928’ on the back of the mirror.
The armoire is completely in solid walnut wood and walnut briar veneer arranged in book match. Cast bronze handles.
Completely restored.
