The set already appeared in the Jacob & Josef Kohn catalog of 1906, the armchair was presented as studio furniture in the London exhibition catalog of 1906. However, the model achieved its fame primarily through its exhibition at the World Exhibition in Buenos Aires in 1910, where it was presented in the Jacob & Josef Kohn Pavilion. The joint illustration of the model with wardrobe designs by Josef Hoffmann in the London brochure led to an attribution to the architect, although a clear reference cannot be clarified.
