Large Antique White & Black Alabaster Pendant Light Chandelier with Brass Chains

It is all hand-crafted in the earliest years of the 1900s and because it is hand carved out of one solid rock of alabaster, it must have taken the artisan(s) weeks rather than days to first design this work of beauty on paper and then carve it to perfection (by hand). As you can see in our images, the final product of their artisanship is an absolute joy to look at and you will immediately realize that they don’t make ’em like this anymore. The combination of the design and the natural veins and patches in the shade (that have formed in this mineral stone over thousands of years) make it even more special. For it to still be in this amazing condition after 100+ years is like an ode to the craftsmanship of early 20th century artisans.
