Vintage Design
This is a lovely pair of George Smith Low Scroll Arm wingback armchairs with Damask upholstery. A very good looking well made and comfortable pair of large wingback armchairs by the great George Smith, handmade in Chelsea London.
The frames are heavy solid hand carved mahogany, the upholstery is Damask. They have always been used with arm protectors so the arms are perfect. The legs have a lovely vintage patina. The back of the chairs where the heads rest have very slight barley noticeable discoloration on one and slightly more noticeable on the other, I have tried to picture but it is very faint.
The cushions are nicely feather filled and fully upholstered so should the worst happen and you stain one side you can simply flip them over.
