Vintage Design
Rognon -shaped hairdresser, in solid walnut, in the taste of Louis XVI.
It is equipped in its center with an oval powder with side feet carved in laurel wreaths finished in windings, and foliage central foot. It is surrounded by its two components of the same shape but of lower dimensions. The latter can fall back, independently, to the desired degrees, because he maintained by brass hinges. The three mirrors of this triptych are cut obliquely on their peripheries. Their executives are embellished with pearl friezes on their edges and summoned with generous tied ribbons.
Its top cut into beans is covered with an original fabric predominantly yellow and with flowered patterns, itself protected by a window on a beveled board.
This hairdresser opens with a drawer assembled in ‘Arondes queues’, hidden in the belt of the furniture. We owe this effect to the frieze carved in spirals of the headband which extends on its facade in an uninterrupted way.
The whole rests on four arched and molded feet, those of the front offering in the upper part a plant decor. They are linked together by an openwork spacer and to the protruding dwellings.
We will remember the singularity of this elegant hairdresser, which could become the retro room of a contemporary room.
