Large and spectacular, this bronze relief sculpture depicts a standing male nude figure on a ground that is rich with curving decorative motifs — almost as if the atmosphere were alive — surmounted by a bold, radiating aureole. Designed to be hung on a wall, with three original holes for mounting in the aureole, this sculpture was created by a Dutch artist but is not signed. The bronze has a rich, lustrous patina.
