Handwoven tapestry in wool, with motif of a red horse, a young stallion, designed by Märta Måås-Fjetterström in 1930.
Several horses with different poses appears in the collection of red horses by MMF. They are details from the large wall tapestry Röda Hästarna, exhibited by Märta Måås-Fjetterström in the important Stockholmsutställningen 1930. This exhibition was the turning point between Arts and Crafts and the Modernism period in Sweden.
Woven in wool on a wool warp by artisan weaver Emma Prins in 2009 at the Märta Måås-Fjetterström studio in Båstad, Sweden.
Mounted as a decorative throw pillow with a backside of red linen. The inside is filled with feathers and down.
