This exceptional antique Art Nouveau Vienna Secessionist Salon Suite includes a settee sofa bench and matching side chairs designed by Thonet and produced by Austro-Hungarian company Ungvar Ungarn circa 1900. The Ungvarer Mobelfabriks furniture factory was located in the city of Ungvar, in present day Ukraine. The unique design features an elegant combination of turned and bent wood and a beautiful curvilinear profile with upholstered seats and backrests and upholstered armrests on the settee. The particular design of this loveseat and chair set can be found in Thonet’s 1904 Illustrated Catalogue, p. 15, Nr. 65.
