A French Art Nouveau Tray side table produced in France in c1900 by master cabinetmakers Louis Majorelle, using select cuts of timber the frame is solid mahogany with the leg tapering down to a spade end, the top is in Rosewood with Macassar ebony, tulipwood and mother of pearl marquetry inlay and inlay marquetry Majorrelle signature in the corner. The table has been fully polished and in excellent condition throughout however there is a small ring mark to the top surface where it has had a vase standing on the top unfortunately this could not be removed by restorers.
