Portugese Walnut & Leather Chair. 17th Century Side Chair, the oblong leather back with leaf-carved scrolling finials, embossed with a symmetrical display of scrolls and with navette-headed brass nailed borders above a conforming seat on baluster and blocked legs with shaped peripheral stretchers. Dimensions: 50cm wide x 42cm deep x 49cm seat height x 111cm high at the back. Condition: Solid, replacement leg, old woodworm, some damage and repairs to the leather, losses to the brass mounts.
