A romantic composition of a family executed in a hand carved and hand painted one-of-a-kind settle or bench painting and pyrography on wood attributed to the circle of Lawrence Pennington, early 20th century, Warwick, Rhode Island.

This is a beautiful early 20th century bench all hand incised and hand painted and dating to the early part of the last century. Each panel is masterfully hand incised and hand painted with appealing family and floral motifs.
